Preserving Vicky Teinaki's writing

Vicky was an amazing designer, deeply motivated by community, generosity and the sharing of ideas. She cared about helping others, bringing people together and making knowledge accessible. Her blogs and newsletters reflect that spirit: thoughtful, curious and always written with something valuable to offer.

That commitment was especially visible in her work with Northern User Experience. Vicky helped run NUX Newcastle events and organise the wider NUX conferences. She gave her time and energy to creating welcoming spaces where people could meet, learn from one another and share their experience.

Vicky died suddenly in January 2025. Her passing was felt across the design communities to which she contributed so much. You can see some of the thoughts people have shared here

The internet is a fallible place, and great content often disappears, so I have archived the contents of Vicky's blogs and newsletters so that her writing, ideas and reflections can continue to be read, shared, remembered, and most importantly, inspire future designers.

This archive preserves her work as faithfully as possible. All of the writing remains Vicky's; my role has simply been to safeguard it and make it accessible.

You can also download the archive for your own records (250mb - it's a biggie)

I hope you find it useful.

All the Best, Chris
